Your Access Code for the online program is

Carefully follow the instructions below to enroll in and complete the online program:

  1. Go to: www.safetyserve.com/vasapdic
  2. In the New User Registration box, enter the Access Code shown above.
  3. Click Register.
  4. Complete all fields on the registration form. You will need to create a Login ID and password.
    5. •   Write your Login ID and Login Password down for future reference. You will no longer need your Access Code.
  5. Click Create Account. (This will take you to My Courses).
  6. Under My Courses, click on: Defensive Driving Course - 10X Edition (L) (in blue text), to take you to the course screen.
  7. From the course screen, click the Launch button to start the course.

If you choose to not complete the entire class in one session, log in to the Returning Users area, using the Login ID and Password you created, each time you return to the site.

The Access Code above is unique to your registration and can only be redeemed once. Your course is active for 60 days from the date you redeem your Access Code.

National Safety Council will electronically notify the VA DMV of your successful completion of the online driver improvement course and it will be posted to your driving record within 24 business hours of the completion date of the course. A certificate of completion will also be emailed to you within 24 business hours of successful completion of the course.
